About Coach Rey...

Rey played College Baseball with the University of Miami in 1988, playing in both the infield and outfield.

Rey was drafted by the New York Yankees following his collegiate career, playing with the organization for 5 years. There, he won the Gulf Coast League Championship in 1989, the home run title in 1991, and was an All Star Selection in 1991. He then played with the Chicago White Sox before finishing his career in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

After retiring from the MLB, Rey went on to Coach both Collegiate and Professional Baseball and Softball players. His experience culminated in him serving as the Hitting Coach for the Miami Marlins in 2017.
